Don't Ever Give Up!
This spring will mark 26 years since the passing of our friend and mentor, Jim Valvano. I know that many of you were touched in some way either by Jim directly, or through his legacy.
We are hosting our second annual Jimmy V Party, which is an event that focuses on the part of Jim's life which gathers those together who knew him before he won a national championship. As those of you who joined us last year experienced, it was a day of sharing laughter and memories.
The golf scramble will be held at Wykagyl Country Club, just down the street from Iona, where it all began for Coach V. We will start the day with lunch, followed by a 1PM shotgun scramble, on a renowned course. We will then celebrate at a cocktail party, which will once again be more about sharing stories than any long formal program. Just as Jim would have liked.
Come for the day, golf with us, just come for cocktails and please consider some of our sponsorship opportunities. All for a good cause to help fight the disease which took Jim from us way too soon.
